How It Works

Show up as you are.

Live and online

Every class streams live. You paint along in real time, ask questions, and share your progress. Classes are also available on demand if you cannot make it live.

Two hours, start to finish

Log on 15 minutes early to settle in and set up your space. We paint for two full hours and you leave with a finished piece.

Use what you have

Nothing fancy required. A dollar-store canvas, a basic acrylic set, three brushes, a water cup, and a paper plate for a palette will carry you through the whole series.

The supplies list

  • Something to paint on: canvas, canvas board, or thick paper. A 9x12 or 11x14 dollar-store canvas is perfect.
  • Acrylic paints in black, white, orange, purple, yellow, and red. A basic starter set covers it.
  • One large flat brush, one medium round brush, one small detail brush.
  • A cup for water, paper towels or an old rag, and a paper plate for a palette.
  • A pencil for sketching first.

Watercolors or colored pencils work fine as substitutes. Bring the set, thick paper, and a water cup.
